Always enjoy the opening posts. Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: jayohaitchenn on Friday, August 8, 2014, 09:01:02 I don't care who starts the threads and stopped reading Shaw Rosso's when he ran out of things to say about the teams we'd played more than once.

In all honesty I'm the same as this. I usually give it a quick glance though to be fair and it is quite well written, however I got a bit bored of the '(Insert town/City of the opposition) is a shithole etc etc'. I know its supposed to be tongue in cheek, but it grated on me, like parmasan on a spaghetti bolognese. Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: 4D on Friday, August 8, 2014, 11:17:45 Miserable gits.
Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: Honkytonk on Friday, August 8, 2014, 11:38:37 I enjoy Shaw Rosso's matchday threads and hope he continues.
Although I secretly hope for the King of Tonga to stage a coup. Did you get out of your cardboard box the wrong side this morning? Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: Shaw Rosso on Friday, August 8, 2014, 12:42:30 In all honesty I'm the same as this. Point taken, but there really is only so much you can say about Crawley, Orient etc so its easy to focus on the negatives of the various oppositions, and let's face it, there's plenty of them. Its only my personal opinion Shaw, the fact you make the effort to do a bit of research and take the time to craft a decent write up should be applauded. Cheers, any feedback is welcome, unless its from Jayo. Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: 4D on Friday, August 8, 2014, 13:28:17 Don't forget that SR can't get an early night pre matchday
Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: Shaw Rosso on Friday, August 8, 2014, 13:44:12 Don't forget that SR can't get an early night pre matchday And then there is Friday beers to consider :pint: Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: jayohaitchenn on Friday, August 8, 2014, 13:56:26 Cheers, any feedback is welcome, unless its from Jayo. You realise I have the power to stop you from creating threads don't you? Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: 4D on Friday, August 8, 2014, 13:58:00 ::)
Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: Shaw Rosso on Friday, August 8, 2014, 14:01:54 You realise I have the power to stop you from creating threads don't you? I also have the power to not really give a fuck, I am fully aware of the Kim Jong Un-like authority you have but surely sorting your perm out should be a priority? Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: jayohaitchenn on Friday, August 8, 2014, 14:04:59 Wow. You've never used that one before. Stick it in your thread tomorrow. It'll be just hilarious.

You are right, I haven't used that one before. I used to get on with most sandal wearing Liberal Democrats, its strange. Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: jayohaitchenn on Friday, August 8, 2014, 14:57:45 What the fuck are you gibbering about, you fucking imbecile?
Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: Reg Smeeton on Friday, August 8, 2014, 15:07:31 Did you get out of your cardboard box the wrong side this morning? This is more like Jayo... (http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090819003837/muppet/images/c/c3/Oscar-can2.jpg) I'm not sure many others will buy ticket, for what will doubtless be a season of struggle to gain many new points from places like Oldham; we may well have to wait til next season to rediscover the the fact King Miguel of Portugal briefly lived in Stevenage High Street in the 19th Century. We still have Crawley....a mention of the World Marbles Championship wouldn't go amiss. Fleetwood and Fisherman's Friends :eat: Title: Re: Matchday threads Post by: Shaw Rosso on Friday, August 8, 2014, 15:23:11 Eco Warrior Swampy, that's the fucker.
Your efforts to create an atmosphere in The Town End are noble, and fair play to you, I applaud you for not piling in to the right side (Kojaks loyals) too, this must take remarkable levels of restraint, but you do have a bit of a Lib Dem activist about you. It could be the barnet or even the awkward looking high fives, perhaps a nit comb through the beard could change everything? In all seriousness, I give you all of the plaudits for the support you have for the team, even if my threads are shit. |
