Title: World Cup Day 6
Post by: Sir Pissalot on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, 19:16:40
Jonathan Pearce and Mark Lawrenson - the dream team.  NOT!

Pearce just doesn't know when to shut up and let the picture tell the story, and Lawreson is almost as bad.

Just hope Pearce has kept off the juice and out of the sun this time.

Only half watching but Brazil seem to be getting all 50-50 decisions again.

Pearce has just said again that they got the goal line technology decision wrong the other day!  He just doesn't get it, does he?!

He is still not accepting that he made a mistake with the goal line technology the other night.... idiot!

I do like the Mexico away shirts though,  too dark for Town but a good shirt.

I reckon Germany, Italy and France would all beat Brazil.

No great shakes, are they.

I've got a lot of time for both sets of fans shouting 'ooohhhh puts' at the opposition goalkicks.

Watching both sides missing the target from distance with gay abandon - has anyone really pinged one in from distance yet? Recall lots of target missing but cannot think of one?

Hate the way if a Brazilian shows a bit of flair commentators bang on about it. The Mexicans have played some nice football and nice touches and they ignore it.

Come on Mexico!

Yes, the bandidos are not a bad side.  Peralta is a dangerous player.

Everybody, FIFA and broadcasters, are shit scared that Brazil don't go a fair way in the WC.

Just wait for another controversial decision in their favour in the 2nd half

I get annoyed at players waving imaginary cards around, but even the Mexican manager has been at it :(

A shame that one of those late Mexican chances didn't go in.  It would have been:

That dive by Marcelo is the worst I have ever seen.

Wasn't touched. Then whilst going down he had time to turn round to the ref to make an appeal for a penalty and point to his chest with both hands before hitting the ground.

Shocking.

When are they gonna do something about it?

There's more chance of Sepp Blatter admitting that he's a corrupt cunt.

Thought the ref was good, If a little lenient, should have booked the diver mentioned above.

The worst thing was that if he had stayed on his feet then he would have been through on goal!
