Post by: Langers on Monday, June 16, 2014, 16:38:52
Portugal are falling apart against the Germans.

Pepe is a bit of a twat, isn't he?

I never thought I'd say this but I found myself agreeing with Adrian Chiles' point about players play-acting to win free kicks/penalties and get opponents sent off - but not the silly, excitable way he made his point, though.   :(

I like the way Germany play

Edit: except the cheating

Ronaldo is indeed a magician...makes himself invisible in the big games.
World class my arse

Muller should be suspended for cheating...but he won't be. Until FIFA start diving bans for over-reacting to getting touched, and trying to get an opponent sent off, this will continue.

Pepe is a walking red card.

You are right and it's not difficult to be retrospective about these things.

Although it doesn't help the opposing team at the time

Deduct the points from the team as well, trouble is the group stages would probably end up with all teams on zero points.

Yeah, GoT is on, thus saving me from any more of this Iran v Nigeria borefest.

Boko Haram will be using this to torture their hostages.

I think Ghana v the USA must contain the highest concentration of shocking haircuts outside of reality television.

Enough to turn them a whiter shade of pale

Did anyone else stay up for the entire Ghana v USA game? The performances of Ghana 's right back and right winger were truly a sight to behold

Watched first half in bed with sound down, and have to say it seemed pretty end to end stuff at times. Good half. Didn't pick up on that though SY.

Opare was hilariously awful and the lad on the wing ( a Chelsea youngster) played a blinder but somehow managed to make the wrong decision every single time he got close to goal.

The USA looked good though. Could see them going far.
