i remember seeing an fa cup game vs wycombe in the mid 90's, it was exactly the same conditions, we lost that too, why can't we cope with the f***ing wind!

Because the players have won two in a row and Colchester are struggling.
This leads to them thinking they have won the match before it has even begun and KING SAID AFTERWARDS that they didn't do what he told them as far as the wind was concerned. They got the halves the wrong way round.
Unfortunately, Colchester knew their left from right and that was the difference today.

Without ever having done any statistical research, I also get the feeling that we've been completely clueless if there is a bit of a wind about in recent seasons.
