Title: The Open
Post by: london_red on Thursday, July 18, 2013, 07:31:52
Love a bit of The Open. Shouldn't be the usual windy, wet links golf either and looks to be pretty wide open.

Who do we like for it?

Gone for a bit on Dustin Johnson, Stenson and Schwartzel myself.

Fed up of wasting money on the usual suspects like of Monty Mk2 (Westwood), Woods, Donald, etc

Cheeky e/w on Jason Day for me

No idea. I'd love Jimenez to win though

Gonna be a surprise or two yet I think. Someone will come through and others will go to pot. Hope Jimenez does it or westy if he doesn't

Westwood is holing putts, i may be proved wrong on my Monty Mk2 theory.

There is a serious amount of quality within 5 shots of the lead, this should be a cracking final 2 days

Hope Westy does it today, probably won't ever get a better chance to grab a major.

Got a feeling Scott might go 2 for 3 in majors though

Would be quite amusing to see Tiger congratulate Steve Williams on another major win :)

That said, I would prefer a Westwood win

Moaner Westy hasn't got the stones to win a major. Come on Tiger.

This is Lee's day i reckon....two English major winners in two months would be spiffing.

I fancy Tiger too. Want Westy to do it though

Would be great to see Westwood keep his nerve and finally win a major.

Cracking start from Poulter

The amount of money I've wasted on this bugger I've the years, would actually be pissed off if he won.

Mahan is flying right under the radar, all he does is hit fairways and greens, I like his chances right now.

Pleased for Big Phil.

Westwood is hilarious. What a goat.

Phenomenal performance from mickelson over the last two weeks. With a wedge he's the best around. 1.4millfor two weeks work,no wonder his caddie was crying. Doesn't even have a driver in his bag, which makes it all the better.

Final round of the Open, one the best sporting days of the year.

Tiger on the prowl, i’ve got Molinari at 33/1 but can’t see past Speith at the moment
