Following on from the "20 years ago today" thread which Ardiles started recently, Richard on the excellent http://www.swindon-town-fc.co.uk/ site has started over the last couple of days loading up loads of footage from the 92-93 season, he's got from the start of the season to November so far, and i'm guessing/hoping he is going to put the rest of the season up over the next few days or so.

Then a 3-2 second leg League Cup win over Torquay with a howler from Nicky Hammond

On the 10th October a defeat at Portsmouth

The following Saturday a 5-1 thrashing of Notts County at home with Kevin Horlock's first goal for the town

On the 24th October a 1-0 win away at West Ham which took Town to 2nd in the table

The following Tuesday a 1-0 home defeat to Oldham in the 3rd round of the League Cup

And then finishing October off with a 1-0 home win against Barnsley, Nicky Hammond played a blinder in this match

November started dissapointingly with a 2-0 home defeat against Brentford

And then the following Sunday a 0-0 draw away at the runaway leaders Newcastle, the full match is shown here, Swindon showed that day they played football as good as Newcastle

The only thing of note Austin Berkley did in a town shirt

I thought that was to lend Jan Fjortoft his shirt for the player photo at the start of the next season.

Fraser Digby looked pretty poor in that match, can see why Nicky Hammond was chosen for so many games.
