Title: Another cat related question
Post by: ibelieveinmrreeves on Thursday, October 25, 2012, 19:38:24
Cat got spayed today and has come back with a cone that is way too big for her - we've put a collar on to try and secure it but she can get out of it pretty easy - anyone got any tips for what we can do to secure it a bit more?

We took the cone off and put one of my husband's socks round our cat after she was spayed, so she couldn't get at the stitches.

For the record, OF (or m_g, as he now calls himself) sent me a very nice PM after the 'pompous' incident and explained that he didn't think I was completely pompous...just a little bit pompous when it came to talking about Oxford United.  And I basically agreed with this.  We're pals again now.

FWIW I never thought you were anyway - usually a sane voice amidst madness

How are the kids and the whole bedtime routine going ?

Very well thanks.  Good of you to remember!  My days of having to sit with Ardiles Jnr Mk II as he drops off to sleep now a thing of the past.  He still comes to say hello to me most mornings at about 4am, but a big move in the right direction.

I'm afraid I have nothing to offer on the cat collar front, by the way.

Good, glad all is well. Its hard not to create a new problem by solving others as I am sure you are aware.

Seems like a waste of good materials to me - just pop it over our garden fence and the whippet will take care of the problem.

In the light of the Savile revelations that last sentance just does not sound right.
