Title: Silver 07 Renault Grand Scenic 1.9 dCi
Post by: Nomoreheroes on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, 19:09:22
I have one of these for sale. I've had it from new and have had it regularly serviced. Its only got 54k miles on the clock and is taxed and tested until December. There are a couple of extras like a panoramic sun roof and a centre storage console between driver and passenger. It has all the standard stuff like a/c, cd/radio and trip computer.

Am looking for £4500 ono, but haven't advertised a second hand car for years. Where is the best place to advertise? Local newspaper? Ebay? Where?

Incidentally, if any of you want it....

Autotrader online is still popular. Just be aware of scammers and canvasers.

4D: Not pxing because they didn't offer me a decent price, but then dropped the price of their car without px.

Batch: Will take a look at that. Couldn't remember the name - Autotrader. Was thinking Exchange & Mart.

Ronnie21: Is that 'no problem' ? I've tried to set it at a reasonable price as per Parkers Guide.

The second hand car market is so flooded at the moment. Just a word of warning don't expect to sell quickly if you want the right price. Unfortunately its a buyers market.

Yep, should be no problem getting that sort of money if it is in decent condition!!

Autotrader is a complete rip off. If it doesn't sell within a couple of weeks you can spend a small fortune on advertisements.

Ebay is good and you can pay for a listing rather than a straight out auction. I don't know anyone who's put their motor up on ebay and not sold it for a good price. Just be prepared for a lot of questions.

Thanks for that. May go down the Ebay route at the weekend.
