If and its a big IF we beat Saints next week then PNE or Charlton are very difficult to beat, away or home.

If we start a good run then very do-able to get to the 4th round.

I agree, I couldn't give a toss about this game now. 3 points on Saturday please.

Do you realise the importance of a good cup run?...of course we all want league wins but it is a massive game for us for financial reasons,a win in front of 8000 odd will get us a home draw and another decent crowd and the chance of big bucks if both matches are won.

Can't wait for the match personally.

The cash would be nice but we aren't going to win the league cup. I'd happily swap a cup win for 3 points on Saturday. If we don't go up this season we're going to be seriously in debt.

I've made that clear enough times and despite no-one believing me - I still havent got yet this season.

Maybe not to you,but the board who are juggling the finances may disagree....pulling in hundreds of thousands extra because of a good cup run will be paramount in there thoughts,and mine as well because the performance at Bristol shows me that given a few more matches we will be on our way.
Beating Southampton will confirm this,to me anyway.

Then I suggest the board spend less time looking at balance sheets and spend more time looking at the league table.

I understand football is a business and all that bollocks but I dont care. Its a sport and the point is to win.

No one should want to stay in a fucking awful league two for any longer than one season.

No cup run and no promotion,even worse...its common sense that a good cup run is good for the club regardless of the league season.

Being in anyone of the cups right now means at least one extra game to put things right.

More playing time for the team to gel as well.

More cash for the club.

League is priority, but that doesn't mean we dismiss the cup competitions.

Going to be a very very tough test and I'm not expecting anything. A spirited performance is all I ask. They are certainly not going to be any Bristol City pushovers.

Will give us a good idea how we stand tomorrow night.Would expect them to put out a fairly strong side.I hope we will play the following players.Smith,Manks, Flint, Commazi (if fit) Kennedy, Gabilondo,Macca, Ferry, Ritchie, Connell, Clarke.That I think is our best starting eleven.Devera if Commazi unfit.Unlike City they won't lie down, let's see if we can compete against them.

No, would have Paul on the bench for this one.Ideal opportunity to give Manks a chance.I get the feeling Manks is on the way out anyway, so I would think the team will look a good bit different when PDC names it. 

I will be suprised if Manks is even in the squad.

Yep, me to Leefer, I think that's a real shame though.Just a ppov, I think Manks would do a really good job for us at this level, and he would certainly give us a bit of physical presence.
