Just a shame their manager is no longer Wolfgang Wolf.

Hmm. 15 days until Town go on tour and still nothing on the OS about who or where or when they play. Only speculation on Adver site about Austria or summut. Did something go badly wrong on a previous Town tour (e.g. trouble) that means the club don't want fans to travel?

They mess around with the fixtures right up until the day before the games.

Which is the main reason no one travels. Another reason is that you wouldnt go to Wanborough to watch a friendly training game (probably), so why fly to Austria to watch a friendly training game?

I think the max amount of fans Swindon have ever had out there for a game was about 30. I think Mex went to one?

we had a bit of a schuhfest with the local lederhosens last year but it was just hansbags. Easty vommed into Timms' green flash and then I ate it for a bet - we all got arrested and banged up for a night - it was wicked!

I'm sure it's lovely to go out to somewhere like Austria to watch Swindon but isn't such a tour really about the players and not the fans? I appreciate that it's inevitable that fans will want to go though.

Our good friends at Bristol City went to Portugal a year or so ago, arranged behind-closed-doors friendlies and begged their fans not to turn up!

Looks like this fixture has been binned and we are playing German side Karlsruher and Qatar outfit Al-Sabb.

Where does it say this? Karlsruhe's friendlies so far this summer:

Won 3-1
Won 12-0
Won 5-1
Won 19-1
Won 13-1
Won 6-3

Could be a good test for Morrison!

German teams must play school teams in friendlies or something.

Wolfsburgs results

13 - 0
10 - 1
12 - 0
4 - 0

They play all the local non-league teams away and show absolutely no mercy, playing their full first teams. To label giants of the game such as Rheingold Lichtenau, Viktoria Enzberg and Oberhamersbach as school teams is quite frankly offensive! It does seem a little bit pointless from a footballing perspective. If we play KSC in Austria I think I will burst.

P.S. Wolfsburg are gay

MTV Wolfenbuttel, OSV Hannover, SV Brunsrode/Flechtorf and Germani Halberstadt took the brunt of Steve Mclaren's Wolfsburg's Ire!

I think SV Brunsrode/Flechtorf need to make up their mind where they're actually from.

"Fixtures have been arranged". My two favourite teams in the whole world playing against each other - I've just exploded on my trousers. If Summer of Noughtie Nine goes to this tour I will not blame him/her/it.

Hopefully they will get the spelling right next time though. It's either Karlsruhe (as in the name of the City), or Karlsruher SC as in the Sport Club of Karlsruhe.

Hopefully this means we are looking to sign their brilliantly named player Matthias Cuntz.
