Just seen that about Keith Alexander - knew he'd been ill, but thought he'd got over it and was in remission. Clearly not. Fuck - 53's no age at all

hiccough are often linked to a tumour of some kind blocking air flow from the brain.
There was an interesting documentary on a few weeks back about a fellow who had constant hiccough 's for 18 months pretty much.
Everything was tried until they found out it was a tumour and he had it partially removed knowing that if surgery went wrong he could have died.
He recovered in the end although his right side of his body did not work correctly for a while.
R.I.P Keith

To be fair, I did the same thing, Gazza posted about 30 seconds before me as he has a direct line to the Reaper himself.

Nobody used his thread though.

Really sad news.  Having been affected recently by a sudden, unexpected death I know the pain this can cause - it does put football and what John Terry does with his spare time (and his mates' ex-mrs) into a little bit of perspective.
