So,

Does this mean we're not signing anyone and Wilson needs to calm pessimistic fans

or,

Does this mean we're going to make exciting signings and Wilson wants to calm pessimistic fans

:D

Looks like he'll be calming pessimistic fans. Or maybe he's going to announce a major coup that the club have been keeping under wraps today. Wishful thinking probably but oh well.

Will be going for the same players he couldn't quiet get today from next week in the loan window. Has also watched Robson-kanu himself in the last couple of weeks.

Not as many as last season...

15 in the last 15 minutes, worse than I thought.  I was going with the myth theory that it's happened a few times and we just remember it because we like the negative stats.  On the flip side, we've only conceeded 3 in the rest of the 2nd half all season!

Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, February 1, 2010, 19:28:18
Nah it doesn't surprise me. We let in a lot of late goals early on in the season. Wycombe and Exeter to name a few examples.

Reckons Jesionkowski will be a top goalie, and we have contacts in Poland.

Title: Re: Wilson Phone-in tonight BBC Wiltshire
Post by: RobertT on Monday, February 1, 2010, 19:33:00
As far as I can see, about half of those goals in the last 15 had no bearing on the end result, which is probably why I was less worried about it.

He rates Craig Easton.

Title: Re: Wilson Phone-in tonight BBC Wiltshire
Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, February 1, 2010, 19:39:15
Then why the fuck does Timlin play ahead of him?

Title: Re: Wilson Phone-in tonight BBC Wiltshire
Post by: suttonred on Monday, February 1, 2010, 19:40:35
Last time either Ferry or Douglas was missing wasn't Easton injured? Doubt if Timlin has played more than 3 or 4 times from the start.

Title: Re: Wilson Phone-in tonight BBC Wiltshire
Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, February 1, 2010, 19:41:14
I mean when he comes on. Why not bring on Easton instead?

Title: Re: Wilson Phone-in tonight BBC Wiltshire

Timlin's probably a bit more versatil as well, so gets on the bench a lot.

He'll stay if we're promoted, keeping his options open at the moment.

Reading back through, one thing we all missed psoting was, that we agreed a deal for Ademeno with Crawley, but DW needs to see him in a proper match, as he couldn't assess him properly in training, although he didn't know if he had gone in the window, if he likes what he see's that may be a goer later on. Also said still keeping tabs on Arter and rates him but his position not a priority so will think again in the summer.

Kennedy's hip injury likely to keep him out for months which is a shame for the lad.  Knew he was out, the club haven't previously let us know the severity unless I missed something

No. that's very un-PC.

Bristolians, Oxfordians, lesser spotted Mancunians and some people from Winchester are dairy-adverse as well.

Not that I give a fuck  :)

According to the Crawley website a deal was only agreed with one club, terms were agreed with the player ten minutes before the transfer deadline and so the paperwork didn't manage to go through by 5pm.   Wonder if this was us.

Anyone know if the interview with Wilson is online anywhere?

Dont think it was us, as DW didnt know if he was even still at Crawley.

You're missing a space after the comma, and a question mark at the end.

i never use capitals cause i'm a lazy bastard and can't be arsed.i also type and hit post as i go without checking hence the mistakes.
if i thought it was important, i would take more time and do it more stringently, but i dont think it is.
of course when typing a letter i'm more careful.
