Title: McLeish sacked...
Post by: land_of_bo on Thursday, February 9, 2006, 17:15:08
Would you stay and try to prove them chairman wrong, making the most of the rest of the season (or are they out of everything)?

Personally I'd tell him to stick it and walk away now...

I wouldn't exactly say he was sacked.

As a player Big Eck was class, as a manager at Motherwell and Hibs, he was also class.  Half of me is sad he never got to grips with the Rangers job, but as it's the hun we're talking about I hope he can finish the job off nicely and still take Rangers to where they belong....

Scottish Football League Division 1.

Le guen is almost guarenteed. Murray has been buttering him up for months. PEople close to le Guen  have said that he has agreed verbally to take over. Says something that the bookies wont open a book on who is taking over!

Sounds like he will have some major funds to spend as well!

I commend Murray for sticking by his man but Rangers for the state the SPL is in... Are a joke... As are Celtic (If Larsson was still there, they would have won the title by now!)

The next ten years belongs to Edinburgh. I'd love it if Hearts and Hibs oust the Glasgow clubs that'll silence alot who want them to play in English football.
