Title: Missing Ship
Post by: Fred Elliot on Friday, February 3, 2006, 11:26:11
Egyptian Liner with 1300 passengers missing

Link     http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4676916.stm

"Most of the passengers are said to be Egyptians working in Saudi Arabia but some are thought to be pilgrims returning from Mecca. "

Shame

Yes in the channel, possibly the least threatening piece of sea in the world. It's a glorified river for fuck sake (apart from being tidal and all that tehnical stuff that means I'm talking bollocks)

I know fuck all about sailing but i think the 'glorified river' is a busy shipping lane too (a bit like that little airstrip Heathrow)
