Title: 18,000 Post by: mexico red on Wednesday, February 1, 2006, 16:28:29 i met a reading fan in a garage on the way home last night and apart from being a smug pikey cunt, he told me that they now have 18,000 season ticket holders!! i started to laugh and he thought i was taking the piss, he said they also have a ticket based membership scheme.

They are having an extra tier added to the Madejski apparently......they think the grass is greener in the Pemiership however I don't hold out much hope for them. Plastic fans. Bobby Mikhailov signed for them after seeing the final thinking that Wembley was their home ground. Some dissapointing attendances around 10000-11000 at the start if I remember correctly, but then there were teams like Oldham to play. If we were in the prem now with a decent stadium the size of readings, we would pack it out most weeks.
