Oh fuck! Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: Rich Pullen on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:07:18 Surely you're not suprised?
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: sonicyouth on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:08:00 London club as well...
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: janaage on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:08:40 No not at all, and if he goes I won't blame him. Just a rumour at the moment I reckon.
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: janaage on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:10:23 I always thought he'd go to QPR, or West Ham, these rumours linking him with Sheff Utd never really worried me. This does as without Parkin we will be a toothless tiger, or wingless robin. :(
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:11:16 parkin cost us 50k (correct?) 500k would be a very good profit but i would want 750k so we could spend some cash on a decent striker to replace him!
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: faringdingdong on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:14:24 song for the moment, -'Please don't go' by KWS
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:16:44 i wouldnt blame him! hes stuck here with a mid table league 1 side. we should only let him go 4 a million pounds tho! nething else would be a disaster! the board best not sell him 4 less but i bet they will!
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: Rich Pullen on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:22:42 IF Parkin departed, I'd much rather he left close season. But in regards to the new club linked with Parkin, I'm glad it's a stable Premiership team in Fulham. It's ideal for the guy, obviously I don't want him to go but you can't stand in his way for top flight football.
I pray it's just another internet rumour! Ah Roberts - Injured Fallon - Not scoring Slabber - One can only dream! Caton - Has had a couple of chances to shine. Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:25:25 roberts will be good when he comes back but fallon is poor (apart from saturday) slabber we havent seen yet altho he is supposed 2 b a good player!
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: janaage on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:27:58 If he went and it's a big if we would have to strengthen the strikeforce straight away. I fwe don't and Roberts is out for two months, when he comes back we'd be in the midst of a relegation battle!!
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: Piemonte on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:29:47 I actually get the feling that Fallon would score some goals when not in the same team as Parkin. not that i'm saying he's as good, just that he could do a job as a temporary replacement
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: magicroundabout on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:31:09 at the end of the day we all know that parking will go sooner or later. It's just a case for how much. personally £500000 is cheap for Parkin and i reckon we should hold out for £1m.
But when/if he does go we are fucked up front. Slabber is short term, Fallon is shit, Caton apparently isn't ready (if your good enough your old enough i say) and Roberts is injured. If this bid does turn official i will want to say thankyou to Parkin for his hard work and comitment and wish him all the luck in the Prem where he deserves to be. Parkin = Legend Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: Dazzza on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:38:40 Think this is a rumour that has sprang from Coleman being in the crowd a week back.
He was reportedly there to watch Rhys Evans as a potential replacement to Van Der Sar who has just signed a new contract with Fulham. Unless there is a quoted source or rumour for stories on these sites take them as a pile of shite. They simple eminate from other stories and more often than not Internet messageboards, which looks to have happened here. Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: spacey on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:45:09 It's taken from a story in The Daily Star so it must be true
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: janaage on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:47:15 But if it gets more conversation going and more hits on your site Dazza who's complaining????
A friend has just told me, from a very reliable source, the Mike Walsh is being lined up to replace Fabio Capello at Juve. Discuss Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 13:49:59 definately, walsh was letting king dig himself into a rut so he could take over. walsh is probably the best manager in the football league. FACT
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: sonicyouth on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 14:09:28 I think Fulham would be a very good move for Parkin and I can see it happening, it's a London club and they're financially stable and not in much danger of losing their Premiership status. Coleman's a good manager as well.
I can see it happening personally, though I don't think he'd go for less than £650k or so. Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: janaage on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 14:12:49 Isn't there a £300k minimum release on his contract or is that rumour BS?
Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: STFCBird on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 14:15:05 Don't want him to go, but if he did go I would wish him well and follow his progress.

Title: Parkin - Fulham?!?! Post by: Nemo on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, 16:30:22 Is there a sell on clause attatched to his transfer here from Chelski? Couldn't they just waive that, they hardly need the money
