In 2001 4.4% of England's population was made up of immigrants. As opposed to 5 for Denmark, 7 for Greece, 8.2 Belgium, 11.1 US, 19.5 NZ, 19.7 Switzerland, 23.1% for Australia and a whole host of other countries with higher percentages of immigrants than us.
