Title: Is £20 a small price to pay for a Swindon win today? Post by: BrightonRed on Saturday, January 21, 2006, 20:46:32 Best £20 I ever spent.
A loss would have been season over. A draw was not good enough. If I'd backed us and we'd fucked it up it would have piled on the misery. As it is I'm £20 down (which was won at poker last night anyway) and In a very very good mood. Now I'm going out to get wasted. Never back your own team. 3 years managing a boookies taught be that loyalty can seriously affect rational decision making. (Or at least that's what I thought as endless scousers threw their money away backing Liverpool to win the Champions League last season) |
