Disgraceful behaviour if you ask me.  I hope the FA does take some kind of action ie. fine/punishment.

Agree totally, Ferguson is a complete twat.

Yes, Ronaldo didn't touch him but if he had he would have caused a lot of damage to Cole, there's no excuse for that.

I really do hate Ferguson, he's such a moaner. And his assistant is the same after watching MOTD, they don't do themselves any favours. When they're top of the league then they can use it as a bit of "no-one likes us etc" and use it to gee the players up, but now they're not going to win the league yet again it's all sour grapes.

Although Ronaldo was going for the ball, and although he didn't make contact with the city player, his foot was ridiculously high and had that tackle been slightly wrong he could have caused a lot of damage.

Plus the fact that it was in retaliation to another challenge didn't help. Perhaps red was harsh but you can fully understand why the ref interpreted it that way

Looks as though Rooney AND Ronaldo will be unavailable for wednesday (Rooney got his 5th Yellow against Blackburn and suspension kicks in against Burton). Could be interesting......considering Ferguson used them to shake things up. I still think United will def win but has to be a very slight bonus for Burton.

There's nothing like watching MOTD and seeing Man U lose, always finishes my Saturday off nicely.

Burton would be even funnier if they could win.

Exactly.  I'm only going as I don't have to drive so an easy day out for me really.  I'd love to see Burton win and at least this game has to end one way or another so another nil-nil draw is certainly not an option. (Although 0-0 was still v entertaining.)

"Ferguson also wants the red card shown to Cristiano Ronaldo reconsidered."

hahahah fuck off, that was one of the worst tackles i've ever seen. he was lucky he didn't make contact otherwise he'd probably have ended someone's career.

ronaldo's a cunt and so is fergie.

I like them both.

To be fair to United they were completely and utterly fucked over by the officials, 2 offside goals stood, a debatable red card and a penalty claim turned down.

All this Hate ManU shit gets a bit over the top, they were hard done by yesterday, just admit it.

I watched the highlights last night of the Man City game and you can clearly see that the fake Ronaldo has jumped off the ground and lunged at the City player.

Cool have fun at the match Lady .. hope Burton can pull it off!

I enjoyed the rare sight of blackburn getting a bit of a kicking the other day by Bolton, nobody wants to see anyone hurt, but Savage having his feathers ruffled is all good.

The tackle on Nelsen was a beaut, but they do say what goes around comes around.

Man Utd have put an appeal in against the red card....and for what reason can they justify this? How was the tackle not high, dangerous or late for christ sake.

Okay he made no cantact with the player, but what was he trying to do? Win the ball or pop it?!
There is no need to challenge like that, and it was dangerous.
