Mooney admits Oxford's best hopes of success this season would be to get into the play-offs, the end-of-season finale that he enjoyed with Swindon Town last year before leaving to join Oxford. "I spoke to Andy King the other day and things are not going so well for them this season, but it is very difficult for him," said Mooney. "He is a great bloke and a great character and I feel for him, because he is working really hard at Swindon and it is very difficult for him to continue what he is doing there, because of the way they run the club. "It was hard to leave as I like Andy and the way it all happened was sour. Then coming here didn't help things, but at some stage the people who go and watch Swindon will find out what happened. "When Andy leaves and goes on to get a better job then the truth might come out." The worst pre season I can ever remmember for all sorts of reasons.
