anyone watching him on soccer am at the moment or see him on soccer am?

he's doing well for wycombe at the moment ain't he. top of the league aswell. if he decides to stay at one club for more than a year for once, we may, may, see him again next season. all ifs of course!

Wycombe have stumbled a bit lately, especially losing 5-4 last week but still looking good to go up. Hopefully we will still be here to greet them.

Although we did sing "We'll never see you again"

You know, that bit of quality that made the differences between playoffs and mid-table, the one who had a bit of passion, the one who got crowd going with his "come on," the one who we fucked over and missed out on.

One Tommy Mooney.

very true dave. i think it was king that got rid of mooney really. but he did go to oxford so...he's own fault.

The days of mooney and parkin upfront were the bestest. Best stikeforce in the league that time. Everyone feared us  :(  I hate brighton.

Fell out with King seems to be the vibe I got from his interviews. ih he had stayed another season we could be looking at a whole different situation now.
Him and Parkin was a great partnership because they worked for eachother.

they didnt. they never dove tailed as a partnership, that was clear for all to see.

they were just both huge talents in the same team who finished their chances, they were never a proper partnership who 'worked for eachother'. that said, what they did do was score plenty of goals so it didnt really matter. what id give to have them back  :(

They were the most prolific strikeforce in the division by a long way....

Mooney left because the contract he was offered wasn't what he wanted, simple as that. He'd verbally been offered one thing and was then offered something slightly different, so refused to sign it as a matter of principle.

I'd agree with Dex, that Parkin and Mooney weren't a proper partnership but they were two of the top strikers in the league so if one wasn't scoring the other one was.

And was a deserved win from Macclesfield who are struggling with finances etc.

I couldn't give a toss about Mooney unless he's playing against us. His Swindon career is finished, he wasn't like Parkin where I might have a vague interest in how his career is getting on.
