I would not normally recommend stuff on Radio 2 but this could be worth a listen THE PHIL LYNOTT STORY Saturday 7 January 20:30-21:30 In this one hour retrospective, those closest to him remember Phil Lynott's work and life on the 20th anniversary of his passing. Phil Lynott, the heart and soul of Thin Lizzy, remains a unique Black / Irish rock icon who's influence continues to this day. The most frightening thing for me apart from the fact I can't believe it was 20 years ago is I was 17 then, and 37 now, and he died when he was 36, he seemed so old back then! Now I am a year older than when he died. Anyway, worth a listen and worth listening to some of their stuff as well if you get a chance.
