Title: Should we cash in on Rory now or not? Post by: Dazzza on Friday, January 6, 2006, 15:44:26 Can someone please clarify if he'll be over 24 in the summer?
Provided we offer a contract then we could well get some compo back anyway. Regardless stay for me unlesss were facing certain relegation. Title: Should we cash in on Rory now or not? Title: Should we cash in on Rory now or not? Post by: janaage on Friday, January 6, 2006, 16:28:40 Not the landslide I was imagining. 35%-65%. Least a there's a few of us who won't be moaning about the board once they sell him then.
Title: Should we cash in on Rory now or not? Post by: mattboyslim on Friday, January 6, 2006, 16:32:49 No compalints if it happens, so long as Iffy is resonably OK with it and they make a worthwhile sum. It'd be nice whatever happens if the board would come out and explain it fully, so often these deals are shrouded in secrecy and speculation that people get the wrong idea and people get angry without knowing the facts.

Title: Should we cash in on Rory now or not? Post by: Towniegaz on Saturday, January 7, 2006, 12:00:49 Like everybody else, Rory is entitled to take advantage of any career progression he might be offered. If I was offered loads more cash and a cushy job my guvnor wouldn't see me for dust. At the moment Rory is on a hot streak and it might be the only one in his career so he probably feels he has to cash in. Just human nature really.
Title: Should we cash in on Rory now or not? Post by: reeves4england on Saturday, January 7, 2006, 12:11:56 We still don't know what the situation is though.
If he is waiting for the board to adjust something then no, but if he isn't going to sign no matter what then if the price is right he may have to go. I will be sorry to see the back of him though, he's been superb so far this year. Title: Should we cash in on Rory now or not?
