Title: animal rights activists
Post by: DMR on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, 18:37:32
that lot that freed 100 or so wild boars down in devon... they're going to have to be shot now they're on the loose (the boars not the activists)

if there was one group of people i particualry dislike it's ARA's (apart from darkies)

Agreed David. They are THE most despicable bunch of cuntwipes. They dug up the BODY of the mother of someone who did animal testing. How fucked up up is that?

Id like to go down to one of their protests and wipe the lot of them out with a baseball bat.

I actually would.

careful now, bennett's a vegan.

when i was working at cruk, we were warned to be careful as some stores had been firebombed, staff had been attacked etc. all because someone mistook real fur as fake and sold it.

firebombing charity shops - how fucking low can you get????

What a fuck up.

Seems to be a particular Oxford trait. They are on central news all the time.

Honestly, I hate these people. They are scum.

Got nothing against what they stand for (although i actually do support animal testing) but digging up graves and terrorising people is fucking awful.

I am actually offended by that Nozza. Many of the Blackcurrant clan have fought hard for the rights of animals, and for you to disregard it just like that is downright disrespectful. :x

I disagree. I'll dig up another 4 if it gets our point across.

I said extremists. I don't have a problem with most of the activists, but when it gets to the point of digging up dead people who are connected with animal testing surely you must agree that is wrong?

Fair point, but one man's definition of activist is another man's definition of extremist.

I'd like a little more evidence as to the veracity of this story.

It just sickens me.  Some humans are much worse than animals. And what dog doesn't need a good juicy bone every now and then?  Everyone was a winner in my book.

DV, they could sit at my desk all day, and no one would notice a thing... apart from maybe i had gone on the Karen Carpenter diet or something.

Persuasive, but this bit at the end, means that it is still conjecture at the time of the article.

Quote
Detective Chief Inspector Nicholas Baker, describing the incident as "a quite despicable act", said on Tuesday he was keeping an open mind about whether the desecration was the work of animal rights protesters

Going back to original post.....there are quite  a few wild boar around now, in some of our more wooded countryside which have escaped captivity.....at one tim eof course they were reasonably common, as shown by the large numbers of placenames with boar references...like Bormuff.

No but I'd like to, I'd imagine its very similar to pork, but perhaps with more flavour....like the differnce between frozen turkey and free range turkey.

Boars in Kent.....no not Gills fans.. that's Bores in Kent.

bennett will do one of three things...

1) launch into a massive rant at all of us, call us all meat-eating planet-destroying cunts

2) firebomb everybody

3) come out with some smart-arse one-liner. then call everyone cunts.
