What kind of accommodation are you looking for ie luxury/basic - if you booking direct through hotels it will be a lot cheaper than through an agent/operator. There are some really nice 5 star hotels such as the Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa and the Leela Goa but can often be strict dress codes etc so may be better to go for something a bit less formal. I know it is their Republic Day on January 26 and they have a parade along Delhi's Rajpath. Fort Aguada I've been told is also good to see. Here are some more hotels; (bottom of page) http://www.virtualtourist.com/hotels/Asia/India/Goa-1098247/Hotels_and_Accommodations-Goa-TG-C-1.html Title: Re: goa Post by: oxford_fan on Saturday, December 24, 2005, 11:01:46 Quote from: "STFCLady" Quote from: "oxford_fan" anyone been? i'm going for a week on 7th jan. need to find some accomodation though. any top tips for stuff to do? stuff not to do?
