Johnos thoughts on that:

Trescothick was dissapointing and fell to the slower ball, but didn;t make any difference in the end!

Prior looked good and a decent start, should keep his place! definitely. mex will be happy.

Strauss performed badly in the tests but did a great innings in this one, included few boundaries but ran the singles with whoever his partner was and scored 94 off 98!

Pietersen performed very well and scored at a high strike rate! 55 off 38 i think in the end! hit danish kaneria for 2 consectutive sixes which was nice!

Flintoff had a different role it seemed today. hit many singles but when needed opened up and just smacked it for six, nicely done.

Collingwood did well as the anchor role and came out of that at times nd as a good person to finish with. i was hoping blackers would come in when he did to make more impact but colly did fine so all is well!

overall probably one of the most convincing one day innings england has had for a while! now harminson and co need to bowl well, and the field need to be on there toes, more than pakistan were!

that session was 3 and a half hours long....never watched like that before when watching cricket on sky!

oh yeh and england hit 327 for 4 and the scores were:

pretty poor bowling over the 45 overs, except blackwell and collingwood who did bowl very well. blackwell deserved a wicket and im sure he'll be in the next game.

Even ill admit that Blackwell done well, he and Colly slowed down the Pakistan run rate.

i dont think we bowled badly on a good battting pitch. we just batted well. KP with his quick fire 50 off 39 balls was class. we are progressing nicely in the one day side of the game now

What was Blackwell's fitness like? He could be a proper ODI regular if he could be more of a pro.
