Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Rossi on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 13:31:12 Finally, Crouchy has scored. Not only once, but twice. 19th & 42nd minute :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick:
Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Onion_Jimbo on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 13:38:39 Dwight Yorke?
Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 13:45:16 Crouchy has got two and fucking well done to him, he's very unlucky to have waited this long wouldn't be surprised if he gets a hat trick now.
It was always going to be the case that when he got one he'd get another soon after. He now has 2 in 9 premiership starts which is more than Fernando Morientes. Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Onion_Jimbo on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 13:48:41 I had £6 on him to score first. YAY
Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Johno on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 13:59:45 that first one won't be his surely!? the secondgoal was nicely taken though.
Title: Ahahahaha Post by: DMR on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 14:42:52 Fuck off was the first one his. The second was very well taken.
Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Spud on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 14:43:55 Own goal by the Keeper.
Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 15:12:24 The first was lucky but he's been so unlucky so many times this year so totally deserves it, even if it doesn't get credited to him, there's no doubt about his second, quality goal.
It took Fjortoft till January to get his first premiership goal, most Swindon fans but not me thought he was shit even though he'd been playing well but after that he got 12 in 16 games. Liverpool have won 6 in a row now, 2nd in the premiership and look who Benitez thinks is the key man. http://www.anfieldroad.com/latest/2005/111129/115149141/showitem.html Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Onion_Jimbo on Saturday, December 3, 2005, 15:21:29 1st goal has been taken off him. but luckily og's dont count in the betting world so i still won thanks to that other one he scored. phew

Title: Ahahahaha Post by: reeves4england on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 02:01:51 I have seen Hewlett score gud goals. Doesn't make him an Englad striker (thankfully)
Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 03:35:53 Hewlett did score a good goal against Notts County
No idea what that has to do with anything though, I've seen Gurney score great free kicks so why's Beckham in the England team. :? Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Dazzza on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 03:40:49 Ben I'd kiss your head if it was within range.
It was punt of the day today but I’d nailed him on getting his opener in the Champions league the other week and didn't get a chance to hit the bookies today. Fair play but he’s no Stan Collywobble Title: Ahahahaha Post by: DV on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 12:12:32 Quote from: "Ben Wah Balls" Quote from: "stfcbeckett" Quote from: "Tails" I reckon the keeper had a few hundred on Crouchy*why the fuck does it change to Yorke?* scoring first aswell. But the first wasnt on target before it hit Baines, therer is no way he can claim it, sorry. If it hadnt of hit the defender it would not have gone in.... Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Spud on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 12:39:48 Sorry but theres no way the first was his, Pollitt punched the fucker into his own net plus it took a HUGE deflection.

If you were going to give those as own goals you'd have to give any shot that was on target with the keeper trying but failing to tip around the post or over as own goals but they are not. Goals are not given as own goals just because the keeper got a touch and it was a difficult shot to save.Title: Ahahahaha Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Sunday, December 4, 2005, 17:32:31 Quote from: "DV85" Quote from: "Ben Wah Balls" Quote from: "DV85" Quote from: "Ben Wah Balls" Quote from: "stfcbeckett" Quote from: "Tails" I reckon the keeper had a few hundred on Crouchy*why the fuck does it change to Yorke?* scoring first aswell. The orginal shot was going wide before it hit Baines, it was the deflection that beat the keeper, not the orginal shot..... It wasn't though, I've watched it in slow motion and it was on target, the deflection just takes it upwards, if it hadn't hit the defender it would probably have gone in anyway and would definitely have been on target. Should be Crouchy's goal without doubt. An own goal should be for when a shot or pass that's going well wide is knocked in by mistake at the last minute, or a dodgy back pass or when a defender tries to make a clearance and puts the ball in his own net. It should definitely not be an own goal when a player runs half the length of the pitch, has the courage to shoot from outside the penalty area and hits a great shot which despite taking a deflection still goes in and would've been on target without the deflection.
