My wisdom tooth is raring its evil head this week. I rang my dentist to get this little bastard out of me and got an answering machine!!!

What should I do? I want it out now now now.

Should I do a castaway style removal with an ice skate?

there is no tooth to attach it to though. Its under the gum still. I can see this getting messy.

3 out of four wisdom teeth are through.  But the fourth has been coming through for about 3 years now.  Hurts like hell sometimes, but as I erm, don't like dentists, I just don't do anything about it.

3 quarters of the final one is through now but it's still killing.

Fuck going to the dentists though, they're evil bastards.

Last time I went to the dentist was 1992. Once I had to pay I stopped going!

Yeah, i haven't been since i left college.  I have 2 full wisdom jobbies, and the other two have been half through for about 4 years now.  I think i'll just leave them.

I had all my wisdom teeth out when I was 17 next to Wiltshire sound in old town. In and Out in about 2 and a bit hours. They give you sedative and you can't remember anything after. It was like being pissed!  :beers: But then the pain kicks in  :evil:

My wisdom teeth came through years ago when I was 17 or so, my yearly dental trip is a ridiculous £20 for a 5 minute check up.

I got through to the dentist but they have removed me from their list. so I have to go to Carfax street whatever the hell that is. Seems like some kind of dentist for those creamy heroin addicts

 Bad news OJ if you've an impacted wisdom tooth like you describe then it'lll be a surgical procedure.....I've had it done.....hospital job.

 Its reasonably safe but there is a nerve in that part of the jaw which occasionally gets severed so you end up with a bit of jaw with no feeling which isn't good......nor can you sue them as yoiu agree to it before they start.

im happy to have no feeling. I didnt sleep much last night. Just groaned a lot.

Appointment booked at the pikey dentist this evening. WHY ME JEBUS. What have I done to deserve this?

My wisdom teeth are coming through too. dont really hurt yet, so I'm ignoring it at the moment.

I had 13 fillings and a crown replaced - cash only!

Did you know its cheaper to go to poland have dental treatment there than it is here. Apparently costs a third of the price because the cost of living is so low. There are english companies that can orgainise this for you.

 When I had mine done for some reason to get the anaesthetic working properly, they injected adrenaline inot the gum....which was fun, as I kinda had a rush and started fidgetting about and had to go for a walk, before be able to settle for the procedure.
