So the countdown is on for the new XBOX 360! Anyone getting one on December 2nd?
Im probably gonna wait until the new year due to £££!! It does look awsome though!

indeed it does mr fatbury! i got a feeling this is gonna kick ps3's in to touch! I never had the original xbox but i really want this one!

The only console I have ever been able to play was Super Nintendo!!!  You can't beat Super mario!!!!

All these new things are just so complex, however saying that I would love to be able to work them! Hours of fun!

whats hard about them lady! Switch on, disc in, play!

its not working them its the skill needed to play them!  Super mario was easy because it was left right or jump!!!

The shooting and steering games I find hard!

I dont see why people have loyalties with regard to games consoles and the massive multi-national corporations that manufature them to be honest. It just dosnt make sense to me.

Does anyone know if you can get pro evo on the 360? If not i'll stick to  me original xbox.

You can play the xbox version of Pro Evo 5 on the new one as its backwards compatible. There are plans for Pro Evo 360.

I hope you all realise that the PS3 will be setting you back anywhere between £500-600 pounds.  :shock:

I'll probably end up being cheap and getting the Nintendo Revolution.  It looks awesome and instead of having high power graphics and stuff is cheap, quiet and small.  :oops: But thats only if they get Fifa or Pro Evo on there, otherwise XBOX 360.

Think the point of them is that they plug into stuff. So for example you can blug it into the shell of a controller with thumb sticks and more buttons to make it more conventional. Other things which have been suggested are plugging it into a light gun style thing or a big handle to swing it like a baseball bat.

Think you can plug in the gamecube controllers aswell.

The only thing about Nintendo consoles is that most of the games are extremely babyish.  :?

Wait until the PS3 comes out, looks good. But then the Xbox-360 looks great too. I played Call Of Duty, man is it good.

I think the ps3 and the xbox will be roughly the same in quality. It's going to come down to the games. If it were me I would buy the ps3, but I bet some lucky beggars get both!

360 games i have seen cost 50 notes! :shock:

A friend of mine received one controller and Project Gotham on the day of release... no word on when the rest of the package will be turning up!!

Yes they are, which is where Microsoft make their money. Play.com and other sites do the games for £40 though. :wink:

Rich got his the other week. It's a wicked console I must say. Apparently a lot of the games makers are plumping for the xbox instead of/as well as the ps3 as well now.

I'm liking the wireless controllers (once you get how to log them in/out).

I see you can get a webcam for X-box live now and on certain games like Halo you can take a picturer of your face and put it on the character. How ace is that.

Richy boy has a few games but I've briefly played fifa (which he's borrowed) and I've played Saints Row and PGR.

next friday is D-day tho, fifa07 and PES6, shall be buying both :P

I think Rich has been persuaded to buy the pro evo  :D

Ive played the demo of Fifa and it's surprisingly not bad but Pro Evo is my game of choice.

i was always going to get it. it was just a case of whether i get Fifa as well. Saints Row is a quality game! if only i was better at it

dont think ill get fifa tbh. what is the point in having 2 football games? the new need for speed looks pretty damn good. its out on Dec 3 so ill probably get that  :D
