1-1 atm, Scunny have had a player sent off. Could really do with Scunthorpe getting a result here as Franchise won yesterday.

Don't think we need to worry too much about other teams results, unless of course you particularly want them to go down, if we can get to 53 points, we'd have to be very unlucky to go down....which I make 40 points to get from 29 games.....say 11 wins and 7 draws.

true, you can't rely on other teams results but now we've picked up our first win for ages it's about keeping in touch with the rest and not letting the gap get too big.

2-2 now  :x

I have been watching the first half. Been impressed with Scunny, they look a decent passing side. They are minging at the back without their main centre half though!

But if we get our points on the board, then the gap will disappear as if by magic.

Unfortunately, we're not likely to get a visit from another Johnson managed side this season.

I dunno, if he continues the current form for a few more weeks, that could result in twitchiness at Ashton Gate - any teams coming up just after Christmas that may also produce Santa's Sack?

Hendry's on "leave" at the moment so new manager syndrome probably helped Blackpool today.

Reg is right, we need to worry about ourselves and no-one else. As long as we keep improving and get the points we need we will stay up, the rest of the teams can worry about each other.

new manager syndrome is largely a myth. They did a study the conclusion saying that teams were slightly more likely to do better if they keep their manager.

Of course it was just 'on average'.

We can't really do much worse can we? (judging on this season alone!)

Hopefully things will pick up from here.

How the team I have watched this season managed to put in THAT performance I will never know!
