My ex, who i dragged along to the game, got smashed on the head with a coke bottle, dont people have any respect for other fans??? Wearing your adidas tracksuits and your burberry hats, yea so cool

Town End init, decided against sitting next to the away fans in the Arkells/Nationwide although I'd probably have enjoyed the banter.  I forgot to prebook my ticket so couldn't get student prices....

The atmosphere in the TE was pretty impressive though, and was a great night.

Coming in our pubs ( i was in the Merlin) and trying to do nothing else but cause a ruck - then the 8 or 9 "hard men" allowed themsolves to be thrown out by 3 bouncers - coz they knew if they stayed there were 30 Swindon lads gonna give them hell.....

40 miles down the road and they manage about 600 away fans - they should be disgusted with themselves......

Bit unpleasant for those of sobreriety/with the kids/girlfriend etc. Not very social behaviour. Its not a new thing though, it was much worse in the late 90's kids for a quid days in the Arkells. Really nasty little cunts having a go at our own fans up there. Most teenage boys are little shits/not of independent thought when with their mates its just a fact.

True. The Edinburgh neds are funny, they ask you for money for bus fares and stuff! In Glasgow, they have a poor record of gangs. Lots of violence as you say. Weapons are a problem as well.

I hate going through to Glasgow. Don't get me wrong, there are some great people there but some of the housing estates are the roughest in the UK and as you say, the kids don't have much of a chance due to the upbringing. Drugs and violence is normal for them.

yeh! i quite like it there,(half scottish my self) and am i fairly big Gers supporter, but when its dark and the shops are closed, if you dont know here your going, you can feel quite isolated.

Despite the edgyness I really like Glasgow.

Knife culture is a big worry though.

Parkhead at night can be extremely scary. There are ALWAYS stabbings after old firm games.

Glasgow can be like a mini Northern Ireland. They still have Orange marches in Glasgow I think.
