I need to make some new years plans.  Anyone doing anything interesting?

Me and the Mrs had planned to go to Paris for 3 nights ove New Year, but we're probably gonna give it a miss now.  Primarily because that's what those Frenchies would do (ie not come to Britain) if there was any sign of trouble on these shores.

I think I might spend it with the family. Every new years turns out to be a disappointment and waste of time, money and energy anyway.

Now Paris is off the agenda I'm thinking the same.  Then in Jan or Feb take advantage of the Ryanair/Easyjet 99p offers and go to Italy for a long weekend.

Never really enjoyed New Year's Eve.

Everyone is skint, the weather is freezing, your sick of drinking from xmas and all your celebrating is a new year. Wow.

Give me a july night out in Ibiza anyday  :D

I'll be watching Town play in the afternoon and then drinking myself slowly into a stupour with my Dad no doubt before gradually drifting asleep, probably about 10 minutes before new year.  That's unless any mates come up with a great idea of how to spend the night.

Best thing about new year is going to see some quality djs with mates,  being surrounded by pilled up fit women and therefore getting about 20 new years kisses and then spending the night with a sexy 22 year old blonde. That was new year 2005, absolute top night.

Normally it is a bit of a letdown but it can be great.

if everyone else is wimping out and drinking with the family then i might do the same. new years is rubbish unless there's something major planned or you go abroad or you pull a hottie.
