Title: team for friday.. Post by: Bob's Orange on Monday, November 7, 2005, 20:58:35 I would rather have Stephen Hawkings in midfield than Puke.

Title: team for friday.. Post by: Sade on Monday, November 7, 2005, 20:59:47 soapy tit wank
harsh :o Poor pookey wookey. Quote from: "Edinburgh_STFC" I would rather have Stephen Hawkings in midfield than Puke. Title: team for friday.. Post by: Nils on Monday, November 7, 2005, 21:01:32 2 games now so hopefully Migz is getting back some of his sharpness.
Title: team for friday.. Post by: STFCere on Monday, November 7, 2005, 21:52:19 that lineup is far too attacking deano. should at least drop pook back in2 the middle with gurney. otherwise not bad
Title: team for friday.. Post by: Sippo on Monday, November 7, 2005, 22:14:58 Hopefully this will be one game Chrissy will be up for!

Also remember that formation is not really a true reflection of what deano wanted, just the closest he could get to it. Title: team for friday.. Post by: DMR on Monday, November 7, 2005, 22:26:11 My preferred line up (won't be what iffy goes for)
Heaton Jenkins O'Hanlon Comyn Platt Nicholas Roberts Miglioranzi (or Whalley) Gurney Stroud (bound to be up for it) Fallon Hameur Title: team for friday.. Post by: McLovin on Monday, November 7, 2005, 23:16:33 Migz wouldn't even get on my bench after Saturday Plus i don't see him as a derby player when the tackles are flying in...

Do you not think his composure may be crucial? Title: team for friday.. Post by: McLovin on Monday, November 7, 2005, 23:21:36 no, his composure appears more and more like slowness. He is caught out far too often, and in what is usually a fast and furious affair, i can't see him doing the biz in all honesty.

I guess the pace of Bouazza and Roberts up front could cause problems to the plodding Heywood. Title: team for friday.. Post by: RobertT on Monday, November 7, 2005, 23:26:09 If Iffy does go with the 4-5-1 (4-3-3) formation then it might be interesting to see Roberts play the role Pook had previously with Stroud and Bouazza either side of Fallon.
Roberts can be a lazy sod, so this gives him a little freedom to be just that but when he does get the ball he will generall have space and be central (his preferred role). You could then swap the 3 behind Fallon around to confuse markers as well. Imagine those 3 running from deep at Heywood. Got a feeling that Stroud will miss out though. Title: team for friday.. I thought Migz had a great game at home to City in the league last year. He played very deep and got more stuck in than any other player on the pitch. Title: team for friday.. Cant get the damn thing to line up but: 2 central defenders, 2 wing backs, one defensive midfielder, 3 midfielders, 2 forwards. Title: team for friday.. Post by: STFC Village on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, 00:57:08 First name on the team sheet.... Charlie Comyn-Platt, Centre Forward
Title: team for friday.. Post by: fatbury on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, 07:51:58 Heaton
Jenks O Hanlon Ifil Nicho Migz Gurns Pook Heath/Roberts(if fit) Fallon Bouazza Subs Bulman Comyn-Platt Stroud Heath (unless Roberts is unfit in which case Thorpe) Shakes Title: team for friday.. Post by: DV on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, 10:51:38 Heaton
Jenkins O'Hanlon Ifil Nicholas Shakes Miglioranzi Gurney Pook Stroud Bouazza Same as 'uddersfield. If it doesnt work we'll have Fallon and Roberts on the bench, along with Charlie Comyn-Platt, Whalley and the token Goalkeeper Title: team for friday.. Post by: le god cuervo on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, 11:08:30 i think the first team deano posted is the best, & what we're most likely to go with. i'd like to see CCP get a game but dont think it'll happen until ifil gets suspended again.
roberts better be up for this game! :x Title: team for friday.. Title: team for friday.. Post by: McLovin on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, 11:33:17 I was actually starting to warm to Whalley...
We all know Migs will probably play, but if he under-performs (which i fear he will) we'll be turned over on pur patch by City in front of a TV audience. Title: team for friday.. Post by: fatbury on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, 11:36:24 leave Migz alone .. hes good! better than bloody McDermott and Whalley put together!

Title: team for friday.. Post by: DV on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, 11:50:05 Migz pulls the strings in this team, when he plays well we play well, when he doesnt.....we dont.
Huddersfield he was ace, Boston he was crap Title: team for friday.. Post by: McLovin on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, 11:50:19 I think i've just lost all confidence in the man. 2 years ago, i would have cited him as one of my favourite town players!
If we play Fallon up top with support coming in from Roberst and Bouazza, and we really, really go for it, victory will be ours. We can't afford to let City get into the game and have much good possession. Title: team for friday.. He'll get player of the season 8) Still ace, id rather have Migz and only get half a season out of him, than not have him at all. |
