Those at Uddersfield at the weekend can you comment please? Gurney's brief stints in midfield under King weren't that impressive, has Iffy got it right? I think the player we are crying out for most was playing for Swindon. That's Andy Gurney, who scored the penalty. He ran everything in midfield and in my opinion would be ideal for us. He sat just in front of the back four, won the ball and played it simple. He's on loan from Swansea and if funds become available for Mr Jackson in January then I think he'd be someone to consider. I have to admit, when I first saw the team, I thought Iffy was going to play a five-man defence, but didn't turn out that way.
I think the thing that still winds me up about him is his rashness - he goes in and doesn't think about the consequences, even if he's hanging on with a yellow card and a last warning from the ref. As long as he keeps a lid on his temper, though ... I hope he's back to his Leeds/Elland Road best.
