I graduated from Staffs (I didn't do very well in my A Levels!) with a 2:2 (I didn't do very well in my degree). Was a good crack though!

Graduated with a 2:1 in English with History from the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham ... Best days of my life .. sadly missed  :wink:

Merton College, studying English Literature, I wanted to opt for Geography but was basically bullied into EL by my teacher, on the basis that I didn't drop a mark in my coursework or my exam... which is fair enough, but I'm still a bit worried as my hearts not really in it, I'm good at it rather than in to it, if you see what I mean.

As for the other am, thanks, accepted and returned. Let sleeping dogs lie and all that.

never went, but kinda wish i did sometimes, my twin is at aberystwyth uni, been up to visit her a few times, i like the cheap booze and easy-on-the-eye birds :P

Birds are on of the biggest things, A good array of tidy lookers and you know most of them are not so dense they can't speak (no offence to some of the girls that go out in town, obviuosly), and there's no 16 year olds

So's my nephew and he's doing great things in local government (no seriously) near Swindon.

Manchester is one of my "backup" choices... if you can call it that... I'd love to go to uni in Manchester or Liverpool rather than Oxford, but unfortunately prestige rules and all that

Clearly not near enough to Swindon to make a difference to our local government

My mate was at your uni from '98 to '01, lived in Grizedale college first and second years - I love that uni.  Good choice mate.

No I only get excemptions from some exams. That's why the job is really important...I want to get a trainee accounting job

Got a good friend who did a degree and then went into accounting and he's just got his exams coming up.

Yeah, my mate got his employment nect year sorted after doing an internship at PWC. He's starting on £21k  :shock:

Yes it is difficult although once you have been doing it for a while it should become easy. £21k is a good starting salary as well. Once I have finished uni if I do train as an accountant then I should get £30k within 3 years. Here's hoping
