Title: my ipod is fucked :( Post by: sonicyouth on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, 15:23:20 it won't turn on, keep getting the apple logo and a folder with an exclamation mark. i've tried to reinstall the software but iTunes won't connect with my iPod.

I bought myself the new Sony mp3 player cos i thought the ipod was quite crap value for money in the end. Sonic, Try and download the iPod updater software from the Apple website http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/ You *should* be able to reboot the iPod by using this. If the iPod has become corrupt in some way, shape or form then iTunes won't connect, but that software should wipe the drive and start it back up again. Once it's done that you can resync it.
