I was even talking about Fjortoft just yesterday with a Bournemouth fan who remembers him from when he was with us and thought we should bring him back. Fjortoft = Swindon legend. I'd bought tickets for all of the 1st round matches in DC, which included the group that England was due to play in before they got knocked out by Norway (Remember: Maggie Thatcher, Sir Winston Churchill, your boys took on hell of a beating). The consolation was being befriended by a buch of Norwegians, who took a shine to the fact that I was wearing my Swindon shirt - Unlike the Spurs and Leeds fans that I met in the ground !
