Title: Heaton Post by: Sippo on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 14:29:41 What happened son?!?! I know you've made terrific saves and 'saved' us plenty of times but what happened today? Big mistake.
Bulman chants were quite harsh I thought... Title: Heaton Post by: Sade on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 15:23:04 He was not on form today :(

Title: Heaton Post by: my-velocity on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 16:20:02 Didn't heaton try and grab the bal with his hands outside his area on the second goal, i thought that was a bit dodgey.

Yeah he did. Big mistake. If he'd have left the defenders to deal with it then maybe Vale wouldn't have scored their second goal. Title: Heaton Post by: DV on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 18:46:19 Like everyone else lacking confidence
Title: Heaton Post by: sonicyouth on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 18:48:19 He's a young lad with no previous first team experience thrown into a relegation battle, he made a mistake at MK and his confidence has clearly suffered.
I hope Rhys is back soon... I hope Rhys is back soon... That is almost exactly what my Dad says , although the people in the townend who were mockingly applauding him every time he touched the ball after that mistake were out of order. Title: Heaton Post by: unclemark on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 19:05:42 Was an ok game though.
Title: Heaton Post by: Bedford Red on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 21:53:15 Felt sorry for him, big mistake though. Couldn't believe it when I saw him come out that far, no need to.
Agree with what Sonic says above as well, hope Evans is back soon. Title: Heaton Post by: Spencer_White on Sunday, October 9, 2005, 10:47:19 Hate to say it, but thats two really bad errors. Crucial errors.
I thought he got off lightly to be honest. The TE were pretty muted in their criticism. And of course he isnt our player so he will get more stick. Title: Heaton Post by: DMR on Sunday, October 9, 2005, 11:15:04 To be honest, he's cost us 3 games. Walsall, the crucial Franchise goal and yesterday. Frankly he should have got to the first goal as well.

Title: Heaton Post by: mattboyslim on Monday, October 10, 2005, 11:48:08 Heaton is good, but the errors are gowing, he could do with a game or two off once rhys is fit, the poor kid hasn't kept a clean sheet or won yet, and there's no real experience or continuity in defence to help him.
Title: Heaton Post by: fatbury on Monday, October 10, 2005, 12:12:40 I always said Rhys was better didnt i .. he isnt a bad keeper Heaton - I think he will do ok in the game .. and he will learn from that mistake
Title: Heaton Post by: adje on Monday, October 10, 2005, 12:21:01 And Rhys doesn't make mistakes?Short memories lads!

He does, but I couldn't count the many times he's kept us in games ... He's cost less than times he's saved us. Title: Heaton Post by: Foggy on Monday, October 10, 2005, 13:01:21 To be honest its no wonder that the lads confidence is shot to pieces, take a look at some of the comical defending that he has seen in front of him.Mocking him is not going to help , its about time that some people realise that we are in deep shit and that some of the players are not up to a fight or not of the required standard. There is a long winter ahead my friends. :old:
