Title: Port Vale Injuries Post by: Dazzza on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 00:14:36 Quote Swindon v Port Vale Swindon have Steve Jenkins and Gareth Whalley back from injury, while Jerel Ifil is available again after serving his one-match suspension. Andy Gurney is suspended while midfielder Stefani Miglioranzi, goalkeeper Rhys Evans and defender Alan Reeves all remain sidelined. Port Vale are missing Hector Sam, Robin Hulbert, Lee Matthews, Michael Walsh, Craig James and Jeff Smith. They are boosted by the return of Tony Dinning following suspension. Great chance with Vale having so many players out to get a result tomorrow. I really fancy our chances for the first time in quite a while. If we fail to get a result then I really do worry about what the rest of the season holds. Personally I think we’ll take a well earnt point and build on the result. Make or break game. Title: Port Vale Injuries Post by: Amir on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 00:26:40 I fail to believe that the club I love will do anything other than go out and win tomorrow. All the statistics in the world won't stop me from believing that, as stupid as that may make me seem.

Title: Port Vale Injuries Post by: Reg Smeeton on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 10:28:07 Every side we've lost to recently like Donny, Bormuff, Bradford, Sarfend claim to have had injuriies and suspensions to key players.....hasn't made any difference.
Of the 12 sides we've played this season I've yet to see any that looked worse than us. Unless there's a massive turnaround, then we've too many players out of their depth at this level.....that turnaround must start today. Title: Port Vale Injuries Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Saturday, October 8, 2005, 18:06:18 and it hasn't Reg. does that mean the wise man thinks we are going down? :old:

We didnt get out played, out passed, out battled....we got outlucked & outfluked!! We didnt get out played, out passed, out battled....we got outlucked & outfluked!! This is what convinces me we're going down though....we lose to teams who are no better than a bit poor. Don't think we've met a strong team yet in this league....on paper we've a few coming up and I'm fully expecting some hammerings. Title: Port Vale Injuries Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Sunday, October 9, 2005, 14:22:00 me too to tell you the truth! Brentford will easily beat us! maybe not hammer us but maybe 3-0. i think scunthorpe will be an ok game we may get a point but nothing better. i can see Huddersfield beating us 5-0 tbh
Title: Port Vale Injuries Post by: reeves4england on Sunday, October 9, 2005, 15:14:55 But going solely on current form we will lose EVERY game this year.
It won't happen though. The turnaround will happen at some point, and we will win soon. Runs do not go on forever |
