Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: Dazzza on Saturday, September 24, 2005, 22:38:22 Fair play to PD.
I don’t think anyone would stand for some of Jimmy’s recent posts if they were directed at them. 6 months of hookey or up to 5ks worth of fines if found guilty. Wind-ups a wind-up but there’s such a thing as taking it a step to far, especially when you start placing your bollocks over the fire for a roasting just to get a kick off Tinternet. If no-one reacts to him then surely it will all seem pointless at some stage and he will just go away. Here's hoping. Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: pauld on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 01:23:40 To be fair KT this has gone beyond the stage of being just tripe and right into serious libel. Off the top of my head, he's accused me of theft, fraud and embezzlement. Now to put that into perspective, I'm in the process of changing jobs at the moment, and looking pretty promising at two or three places, none of which will employ me if there's a sniff of stuff like fraud. So his amusing little wind-up could end up threatening my family's financial well-being.
And this next bit reposted from an earlier post on the Trust forum "Likewise with the potential damage to the Trust and the Red Army Fund. The RAF could end up making the difference as to whether we stay up this season; the Trust could make the difference as to whether we exist. Both could be fatally damaged by false accusations of fraud and embezzlement and j1mmy's going to have to wise up very very quickly if he thinks a one-sentence edit is going to put things right. " Basically, this is a whole different league from your standard internet wind-up merchant job - j1mmy has made some serious criminal allegations that could seriously damage me personally, and the ultimately the club he claims to support. I'm as much up for banter as the next, but when people step this far over the line, there comes a point where they have to accept they are badly in the wrong and take their punishment. Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: blinkpip on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 11:13:36 J1mmy is just J1mmy. Like anyone believed what he said. I think the trust are getting a bit to stressed out about it.
Come on, hes only a young chap. Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: Reg Smeeton on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 11:17:26 Quote from: "blinkpip" J1mmy is just J1mmy. Like anyone believed what he said. I think the trust are getting a bit to stressed out about it. Come on, hes only a young chap. Perhaps you should offer to be a character witness, when the matter is brought to court.......it may help. Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: pauld on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 11:45:39 Quote from: "blinkpip" J1mmy is just J1mmy. Like anyone believed what he said. Well, actually a few people do seem to have. Not everyone knows j1mmy or me and we've already had one thread on the Trust forum (now removed as it perpetuated the libel) started by someone who'd read the allegations and did take them seriously. Quote I think the trust are getting a bit to stressed out about it. Actually the Trust have not made any decision as yet on legal action, but I am pursuing legal advice in my own right. And I'm not a "bit stressed" - I am absolutely furious. If you don't understand why, read the section on the Trust forum where I explain the potential consequences of "j1mmy just being j1mmy" to the Trust and me personally. Quote Come on, hes only a young chap. Right and the fact that he's a kid makes a difference does it? Will that make a difference if I fail security vetting for the jobs I'm currently applying for because the background checks so there are unretracted allegations of fraud against me? I'll remember that when I'm unemployed and struggling to feed my own kids. I don't think you or he understand the seriousness of what he's done. He's certainly old enough to start taking some responsibility for his actions. Time to grow up j1mmy and quick. Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: DV on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 12:37:57 If he does have to pay damages will THAT money go into the trust fund to?
If it does.....sue him!!! Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: Tails on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 13:10:09 I'm only a young chap, even younger and I wouldn't have said anything like that... That isn't an excuse.
Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: Simon Pieman on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 13:13:02 I pity anyone who takes that kid seriously. Sounds like it's going a bit too far :soapy tit wank:
Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: blinkpip on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 16:55:20 One Question. Why didn't you just ask the editor to delete thread? They did delete another topic Saturday morning.

Why didn't you just ask the editor to delete thread? They did delete another topic Saturday morning. I wasn't aware of the thread till Saturday night - as soon as I saw it, I emailed the editor to ask they delete the thread. However that is not sufficient to put right a malicious libel of this nature - it's already spread far wider than just the thisis site and as I've explained several times already has far broader ramifications than just a bit of banter on a football site. Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: Onion_Jimbo on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 18:25:53 ha ha ha I will laugh so much if J1mmy gets sued. Try explaining that one to people without sounding like a mong.
Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: red macca on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 18:39:46 i think this is way over the top paul..as for failing the vetting process for a job because of this that wont happen because of a rumour surely?it is out of order but give him a chance if he does anything again then clean him out
Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: Tails on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 18:43:38 He's had enough chances, he's always littered the trust site with his crap, ridiculous, sometimes even racist comments. He continues to act like a complete moron and now he's taken it too far, it's his own problem and hopefully he gets whats coming to him and stops acting like a twat all the time.

If you want to make money for the trust, organise an auction of the public gallery seats for the court case - people will pay loads to see this little shite get his comeupance. Better still demand that the case is heard in a huge room and sell tickets to the frothing masses. Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: Asher on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 20:18:22 I would pay a months money which would could sign a player for a good few weeks!
Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: mrs_spacey on Sunday, September 25, 2005, 20:27:52 Since you have so much money Asher, you should donate to the trust a year's salary which should be sufficient to pay at least four loan players for the rest of the season.

Fortunately I haven’t had to go through it but one particular process sees you having to hand over bank statements, phone bills and all sorts of documents. My subscription to Taliban Wives may have caused a stir. Title: Oh dear J1mmy Post by: Piemonte on Tuesday, September 27, 2005, 13:04:46 My collection of illegal muslim porn is going well:
