My dislike doesn’t really stem too much from the football side of things more the fact for such a solid Scotch player the guy is an absolute drip How many crap Scotch managers do you see? Not bloody many so he must be especially crap! Plus I have never seen such a soft Scotchman in all my life he makes Winton look like Stuart Pearce with a hernia. I think the one comment he made that sums him perfectly is to ex-West Ham defender Julian Dicks. Dicks at the time had hik peak form before he got injured and attempted a career as a golfer. He was banging them in and had managed to curb the amount of cards he got and was arguably one of the best defenders about at the time. On holiday he ran into John Gorman who and I quote said “grow your hair son and you’ll get in the England team.” Dicks as ever sporting a Skinhead was that disgusted he turned around and walked off without comment. He should never have gone a 100 miles of the England job. A Swede I can handle but a bloody Scotch in charge of the national team I’d rather soft boil a bollock and eat it with soldiers. Prat! Mutch was ok but not worth £300k. What ever happened to him? Edinburgh would know.....he was doing someonre like Dunfermline...last season but left or was it this season. Robinson didn't sign in the Prem....nor did Beauchamp. Correct Reg, was manager of the Fifers last season but left 3 games before the end of the season. Wordsmith Jim Leishman took over. Quote May 2005 Dunfermline Athletic manager David Hay has left the club with three games of the season remaining. The Pars, who slipped to the bottom of the SPL on Saturday, have also parted ways with assistant Billy Kirkwood and first team coach Paul Hegarty. "Our record sums up a poor season," said chairman John Yorkston. "Davie is a battler and he knows why we are taking this decision now. He looks like he'd cause a few short sharp shocks in the camp. Tell us more EDinburgh, didn't he have some big cup win a while back and whats his reputation like nowadays? I'll be honest, I have absolutely no idea! He seems to make a better assistant than Manager as he was assistant to Leishman at Livvy in their rise up the leagues and only Leishman saving Dunfermline from relegation after Hay was sacked. Buying Whitbread for £500k, Mutch for £300k, Beauchamp for £800k, Kilcilne for £90k and Mark Robinson for £600k is unforgiveable. We didn't have that money to waste. He didn't have a clue. Although he lost 3 of his best players; Hoddle, Calderwood and Mitchell before he'd had time for a cup of tea Yes but compared to Quinn or King Gorman had it very easy. No other Swindon manager has ever had £600k to spend on a right back as far as I know. Title: Wycombe 1 Villa 0 Post by: yeo on Wednesday, September 21, 2005, 21:16:54 Doncaster 1 Man City 0
