i have had on numerous occasions grasshoppers, in southern mexico they are a snack and are coated in the same stuff you get  on roasted peanuts. they are pretty nice actually.

Hmm, not sure mate.  I suppose I've probably eaten more wierd seafood than your average Jo, but I've certainly never eaten stick insects before - not that I'm ruling it out in the future.

years back a mate of mine was very drunk and we all dared him for a fag apeace to eat a live snail.

He crunched that baby in half and started chewing. He never swallowed though as he threw up. was fucking horrid yet very funny :?

Actually a mate of mine was once dared to eat the entire contents of a full ashtray - we put some money in and he managed to make £12 out of it,  licked it clean he did too. :chunder:

Bit smaller than a llama and if I was a fat poof I'd say rather cute.

I also ate the dangly bit of a chickens beak and a cows heart kebab stylee.  Didn't realise what either was until it was to late but they tasted rather good to be honest.

Snake blood was ok, it was still warm and is supposed to give you the sexual prowess of Barrymore on Viagra.

Mine is probably alligator which was quite nice but very chewey.

Morning Glory seeds......

   In my yoof......I'd try anything that gave you a hit.....apparently morning glory seeds were ingested by Aztecs, and they seemed a pretty  8) people.

   Chemically they're similar to LSD......so in for a penny in for a pound.

    Not too sure of the doseage and being greedy for this sort of thing, go round the gardening and hardware stores buying loads of seed packets, then munching them down......they're fucking disgusting.....then lie there in a heap with the guts rumbling like a jumbo on the runway....strong urge to  :chunder:  but think it'd be a waste so keep it in at all costs.....not a lot happens in the skull cinema, and all i all a disappointing experiment.

  It may have been an urban myth, but later it was said the seed companies used to treat the seeds with some chemical with the express purpose of making people puke before they got a buzz.

 Its a wierd thing that posting this has made that feeling occur again in my guts.

Iv'e tasted a few "Deliacacies Sp?" myself: Locust, green ants and flies, snake, scorpion, locust, deep fried grubs to mention a few but there are two dishes in particular that I would never even consider trying,

1) Fully formed chicks still in the eggs..... I once watched a girl eating one whilst I was visiting Laos and promptly vomitted all over the floor. They eat THE WHOLE THING straight from the egg: beak, feet legs the lot. (No throwing up/feeling sick smilie would do this justice.)

2) Dancing Shrimp salad: Sounds like a normal shrimp salad with the traditional Thai tradition of adding WAY too many chillies to the mix, so far so good if you can handle your super hot curries, but the real stomach churner comes when you discover that the said shrimp in the salad are STILL ALIVE, I ain't kidding, an ex girlfriend was once eating one of these salads whilst I was busilly rescuing the escapees and throwing them into the fish tank.

Nuff said.
