Quality goal from Princewill. Good to see McGregor back and looking better as the game went on

I think that Clarke changed the game for us to be honest. But Princewill was a handful when he got some service.

Honourable mentions to McGregor and Munroe who both had good games. Furthermore, Ball did better in the centre of defence in the second half.

Lets be honest the first half we may as well have stayed on the team bus but the game changed in the 2nd half with the introduction of Clarke & Oldaker. McGregor also looked much more assured in the 2nd half.  Munroe looks a decent signing for us as well.

Overall I voted for the Prince.  A very accomplished start for Swindon and I can see him being a handful in League 2 much to our benefit.

Voted Prince too, McGregor ran him close for me but if that is a sign of things to come we've played a blinder getting him in. 

We clearly need another proper CM in addition but it seems we won't be going for one, maybe replacing Delaney does that by virtue of Clarke and Ball being able to spend more time there, hopefully Clarke.

Surprised neither Clarke or Ball have garnered at least one vote, Clarke instrumental in that second half to get us going forward and that experienced touch we lacked in the first 45 completely changed the tempo. Ball in the centre of defence was crucial for his last ditch blocks and movements to stop balls coming in from out wide also a brilliant block on the line at a corner to stop it being 3-1

The first 10/15 minutes everything was going down McGregors side and they kept getting in behind him, once he had that mazy dribble through the middle it seem to punch his confidence back up.

I think getting in behind our wing backs is more a tactical flaw than an individual one, they are so high up the pitch that you'd need to be The Flash to cover the ground behind you. It needs the CB to step across I think?

I agree, but I didn't think he was particularly that high up the pitch most of those first 15 minutes. It felt like they had identified Snowdon as the weak link to play on, but had found McGregor in his place.
