Title: Swindon v Grimsby MotM Thread

With every passing week, Mark Kennedy’s spell in charge looks more and more disastrous.

I went for Kilkenny, I thought he absolutely ran the show

Kilkenny & Nichols were very good & will take the large majority of the plaudits & rightly so.

I thought Cotterill was decent & Glaztel was involved in everything. Grimsby couldn’t handle - overall his season hasn’t been exactly what we (…and he) expected but he’s really turned up the last month or so & got my vote today.

Nichols but could easily have been Kilkenny.

Kilkenny,Glatzel both 10/10 today for me. Everyone else 9. It was an error free game from us. Gone for Glatzel as he's obviously working his bollocks off to earn a stay

Nichols very closely followed by Kilkenny, Glatz and honourable mention for Cotterill who made some key driving runs

Really hard to pick.  Have to go for kIlkenny, though.  Nichols deserves it too.

Agree just proves it was a decent squad badly managed.

Kilkenny.

Nichols impressive again.
A must signing for next season, such a clever player at this level.

Nichols- I know he's a bit marmite but he just knows where the ball will be and where it needs to go.  A unique type of player at this level.   The most intelligent player we've had since Doughty.

Does he? I’ve never seen any hate??

I don't know about hate, but he's an unusual player. Not prolific at all for someone who's spent most of his career as a striker, but his skills like up much better with being a central mid.

Only watched on the phone yesterday. Thought the midfield did well in its entirety. Surprised there is no mention of Cotterill. I thought he had a good game yesterday (as did the 3 who have got all of the goals). Will go for Nichols, with Kilkenny, Glatzel and Smith not far behind. (Also, looked as if Tshimanga was trying hard too).

I don't think Town fans really give him any hate. Hes not a goalscorer but is a good link up player/provider.

Most of his "hate" has been directed at him by fans of his former clubs, notably Mansfield and Rovers fans, neither of which are known for their tollerance of (perceived) under performing players, especially when it comes to strike rates.

...Also, looked as if Tshimanga was trying hard too...

That Tshimanga lean-back which always ended up with him on his arse is now often threatening to turn defenders for a shot on goal or useful lay-off.  Wonder if anyone has helped him out there?

Nichols was brilliant yesterday

Still don't think we see that often enough, but he's a shoe in Ollie signing if we can afford him.
