What's the opposite of a damp squib? Lots of fun, could have been a lot more goals and a fair few more red cards, but another late turnaround win. I feel like we've won this exact game multiple times this season. Peak mad shit.

Kirkman til he went off but Kilkenny turned the game by bossing the middle of the park. Ice cold/red hot penalties from 'bongo

Tranmere & Colchester, right?

Went with Harry Smith as he played most of the game out of position, then was instrumental for both penalties. Honourable mentions for Ripley for keeping the Town in the game with a couple of great saves and also for Kirkman who looked class until subbed.

Correct...

Difficult one:
- Kirkman looked quality whilst on the pitch
- Ripley made 3 cracking saves and was dominant on crosses
- Kilkenny helped us move the ball through the middle and we looked more threatening with him on the pitch
- Tshimanga with 2 cool finishes from the spot (I wouldn't have backed anyone else to have scored both) but did precious little else for 90 mins.
- Smith did 'OK' at CB but didn't contribute much up front until it mattered in the last 5-10 mins. But was then instrumental in both goals.

But did any of them deserve MotM ? I don't think so, so am leaning towards 'None of the above' again

Given it to Smith for his unaccustomed role in defence and then causing mayhem for the Wimbledon defenders when back up front. Closely followed by Glatzel and Westley who both worked their socks off with precious little help from the ref. and Ripley.

Smith, for devotion to duty at both ends.
A genuine torn shirt must be worth big bucks on the matchworn market.

God I struggle with these at the moment. I thought as a team we were very poor/average for most of the game. There were definitely moments, Ripley made a couple of good saves. Probably have to give it to Smith, pretty solid CB performance and then a strong as an Ox game up front. I sense some fatigue in him as his touch in my opinion has got worse, but he had a huge hand in both penalties, and you could see from the state his shirt was in, forced their defenders into really manhandling him. A nuisance.

Went for Tshimanga, Smith was class at both ends though

Smith for me but could have easily been Ripley, and a huge plus point was the 2 penalties by Kab, absolutely brilliant under loads of pressure.

I'm not against Smith for winning the penalties at the end, but I'm... not sure I agree that he did a good job in defence. And nor would I expect him to do or blame him for not, to be clear!

For me he didnt really do anything wrong in defence and won a lot of headers defensively, certainly he looked a better defender than Hall has in any game he has played this season.

95% good but there were a couple of times he was nearly caught out - a bit like Wright was on Saturday :)

That's a compliment - he's not played in defence since 🤷‍♂️
