Thats as close as I will ever get to owning one, so that does me perfectly, I rarely go anywhere anyway so it doesnt sit on my wrist for long. She works in the harrods watch department. Cheapeast watch is £1700. They go up to £79k. And then the mysteroious 'price on application'.
She was telling me about a new one coming out that is 700k. I'd expect it to do more than tell me the time for any of those prices. Title: Re: The Horologists Dream Post by: fuzzy on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 13:27:24 What does a £700k watch get you in that London?
A tap on the back of the head with an baseball bat or a knife to the midriff.... Title: Re: The Horologists Dream Post by: 4D on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 13:33:13 I haven’t worn or owned a watch for over 30 years. Late again Aud. They're popular with American rappers Title: Re: The Horologists Dream Post by: 4D on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 13:34:21 I met a mates new GF last night. She works in the harrods watch department. Title: Re: The Horologists Dream Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 14:25:22 I used to work for a company that had the marketing databases for several large companies, one of which was Patek Phillipe. One of the names on their database was the Sultan of Brunei, so always assumed they were quite good (and expensive) watches
