We harried and frustrated, but we only really fashioned one chance, which Smith took with aplomb. But, I guess you can't play the leaders of the division above off the park!
McCormick looks a good prospect (if a little small). But, we let him mess around with it too mcu at the back. Chard came on and I thought did very well defensively. Smith came on and won lots in the air, but didn't really bring others into the game. Is that his fault or the fault of the others not being in the right place? He took his goal really well though, beating a couple of defenders to the ball and powering an unstoppable header into the top corner. Wright was all over the pitch and put in a real shift. He created the only bit of quality, so will go with him. McCormack made the 1 absolute howler but looked at least at Minturns level to me, pretty solid otherwise.

It was 4/5s across the board for me. They all did fine but didn't impress. |
