I thought Cox looked alright & likely to the one to create anything.

Drinan lifted us for a 10-15 minute spells either side of half time.

Cox did ok as DV says.

Smith for being the best defender, Cox for trying.

18yrs old & still learning the game.
Played with freedom in a team without anything to play for at the end of last season, now possibly starting to find it harder going in a team that is struggling, always a difficult scenario for a young player.
Some astute management will be required if possible.

I went for Drinan as his goal and effort were small silver linings in a poor display. Smith didn’t do too badly either.

I'm upset we ended up with Jaxon Brown (midfielder) as right wing back followed by Coterill (fuck knows what he is).

I'd also drive Tishmanga back to Peterborough. He must be bloody good at the beep test. Glatzel had missed shit loads of chances, he's still twice the player.

I thought Tshimanga did alright in the first half, and showed some effort and turned the defence once or twice, and won a free kick down near the DRS. The problem is, any half decent performance from a player is in isolation. It’s about something individual they’ve done. We very rarely say “x and y combined well down the right” or “the front two were on the same wavelength”. It’s like they’re strangers.

Compare that to the way Ferry, Caddis and McGovern used to work as a trio. When Jaxon Brown came on, there was nobody within 20 yards of him half the time.

I voted for Drinan. We're clearly in a relegation dogfight and whilst he's clearly not the most talented forward, he always gives 100%. Took his goal well and tried to get to the byline to cross into the box. Tshimanga absolutely awful and to me Grant Hall looks finished as a footballer.

I've got a weird theory about Tshimanga. I reckon we've done a deal with Peterborough whereby they get first dibs on McGregor. To me he looks the type of player they would sign and sell on for millions. It wouldn't surprise me if we've agreed a nominal fee for him so we can have their awful striker they don't need on loan to lumber about our pitch looking like a dog chasing a balloon.

And what in the name of all things holy was that Jaxon Brown sub about? Barmy.

And while we are on about stuff, why is Wright taking corners.

He may be good on the dead ball, but surely he should be a threat with his head.

Also, have we got no midfielders that can take it instead. Butters for example.

Tshimanga is utterly hopeless. Offers nothing and barely competes - I’m struggling to think of a redeeming quality - he reminds be a bit of Thomas Dossevi.

What on earth Holloway was thinking with Brown I’ll never know. It was quite uncomfortable to watch to be honest and I hope his confidence isn’t too badly affected.

Drinan gets my vote.

Throwing on potentially a young fearless midfielder off the back of a good loan spell - yeah I get that.
Putting him on at right back, I do not get that.

I know he wasn't on the pitch for very long but Hallam Hope I thought looked a much better bet than Tshimanga. Hats off for remembering he played for us before celebrating wildly in front of the DRS.

Yesterday’s second half changes made the team worse and killed any momentum the equaliser gave us.

Whilst Brown is a promising youngster, his loan was at 3 levels below league 2. The pace, skill and fitness levels will all be lower. Based on Holloway’s pre match ramblings, his selection was a hunch based on how well he did in the famous shuttle run. Madness - and then bringing him (an attacking midfielder) on at right back beggars belief. No criticism of Brown is intended here, but it was unfair to ask that of him in such a vital game at 2-2 with 20 mins to go.

Voted Drinan, as a sub he did all that was asked.

Agree with that.  We had a bit of momentum when Ofborh was on the pitch.  Nothing against Brown but Saturday was not a game for him to shine when you are chasing a game.  The substitutions unbalanced the team and we went to shit there after
