Title: Sandro etc Post by: RobertT on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 03:38:48 Fuck me it has gotten bad if people are remembering the time of Sandro as anything but a shit show. Post him we have shown that running a football club for the benefit of agents has some serious downsides, but he'd already proven the fact that narcissistic naivety knows no bounds in our management structure and delivers the square root of fuck all.
Title: Sandro etc Post by: Bob's Orange on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 07:41:32 It's been absolutely murder since Garner and Chorley left. Clearly these were guys that knew what they were doing and since then, it's been a hotch potch of badly executed and in most cases zero planning.
It's hardly surprising we're currently what 2 points away from being the worst team in the league, on par with bloody Morecambe, who off field are a circus. Did we ever hire that marketing specialist that is apparently very difficult to do and has to go through a 6 month application process? Also as I'm sure it's coming. Title: Sandro etc Post by: Bob's Orange on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 08:57:51 Guys who hired Chorley? One swallow doesn't make a summer. And surely if your onto something that worked, why go into piss and panic mode and then consistently do anything but? Actually wasn't Chorley a Lee Power hire? Title: Sandro etc Post by: Tails on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 09:40:47 Chorley was around pre Clem yes

Title: Sandro etc Post by: theakston2k on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 11:23:30 Guys who hired Chorley? Chorley joined as a scout in 2018, so Power hired Chorley. Why do you think he was forced out?! He wasn’t part of the inner circle of crooks and shadow owners.Title: Sandro etc Post by: Oaksey Moonraker on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 11:44:55 In the deleted Moonraker interview, Sandro confirmed he was approached early 2022 about the role while Chorley was in the job.
No wonder Chorley moved on and that probably influenced Garner's decision given how closely they worked. Title: Sandro etc Post by: Pericardinho on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 11:55:57 As somebody who isn't as clued up about the ins and outs
Am I correct in saying that Kiely essentially issued an ultimatum to Clem that he wouldn't buy shares unless he could bring in his own man. Which turned out to be Sandro? Title: Sandro etc Post by: Batch on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 11:59:44 Am I correct in saying that Kiely essentially issued an ultimatum to Clem that he wouldn't buy shares unless he could bring in his own man. Which turned out to be Sandro? Not heard that one before. Would anyone know anyway? Title: Sandro etc Post by: theakston2k on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 12:01:58 As somebody who isn't as clued up about the ins and outs Not sure about that but Sandro was Kiely’s man as it was his ‘money ball’ model they wanted to bring in.Am I correct in saying that Kiely essentially issued an ultimatum to Clem that he wouldn't buy shares unless he could bring in his own man. Which turned out to be Sandro? Title: Sandro etc Post by: Nemo on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 12:03:06 Timeline doesn't really match up, the loan/share purchase was Sept 22, Sandro was brought in in June 22. Certainly you could see it as a deepening of Kiely's relationship with Clem, but not really a condition of the loan.
Title: Sandro etc Post by: Bob's Orange on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 12:04:17 I see Sandro has been working for William Hill for the past 7 months. His LinkedIn info about when he worked at STFC is quite interesting. One of his ticked key achievements was 'Ensured all achievements were in line with the strategy set out by the owner of the club'

His LinkedIn info about when he worked at STFC is quite interesting. One of his ticked key achievements was 'Ensured all achievements were in line with the strategy set out by the owner of the club' That was what he said in the Moonraker but had to keep up the competitive budget pretence when it was bottom half. Scott Lindsey was taking stick from some quarters for being in or around the play offs when from a budget perspective he was over achieving. Title: Sandro etc Post by: molepar on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 12:41:06 That was what he said in the Moonraker but had to keep up the competitive budget pretence when it was bottom half. Did we ever hear from Sam about why that article was pulled from the Moonraker? I was just thinking the same thing, I'm not sue there has ever been an explanation, assumed Sandro was under an NDA which he forgot about when doing the interview Title: Sandro etc Post by: Batch on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 13:08:57 🤷‍♂️
Like Sam but that was weird Title: Sandro etc Post by: Ƭ̵̬̊: The Artist Formerly Known as CWIG on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 13:12:23 Also as I'm sure it's coming. Title: Re: Sandro etc Post by: Nemo on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 13:18:00 I sort of get people being annoyed about the transfer rumours thread not being transfer rumours while the window is open. But we're 8 weeks away from transfers even being possible, bar "loaning very fringe players to non-league" which is hardly blockbuster stuff.

Title: Re: Sandro etc Post by: Peter Venkman on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 16:20:02 I was just thinking the same thing, I'm not sue there has ever been an explanation, assumed Sandro was under an NDA which he forgot about when doing the interview I am pretty certain that this is exactly what happened in this scenario. Sandro could well have got himself in a lot of legal issues over this if it came out publically that he was in breech of the NDA, via some form of legal proceedings etc. The club, I am sure, were totally unaware of the interview hence why it was removed so quickly to save any possible embarressment for Sandro, and not because it contained anything detrimental for the club. It was a sensible move by Sam to avoid any possible legal repercussions against Sandro alone and not that there was any pressure from the club on Sam to remove it. Title: Re: Sandro etc Post by: Ƭ̵̬̊: The Artist Formerly Known as CWIG on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 16:36:53 If Sandro was under an NDA then he is an even bigger idiot that I thought he was.
Title: Re: Sandro etc Post by: tans on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 17:12:23 NDA only last so long anyway dont they?
Hasnt stopped Morris talking has it? Title: Re: Sandro etc Post by: Batch on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 18:07:53 NDA last as long as they say they last. They can in theory be indefinite
It's probably normal they expire after a time though |
