Title: Re: Swindon v Barrow MoM Thread Post by: Nomoreheroes on Saturday, December 16, 2023, 18:14:37 Only saw the second half and didn’t see anyone put in a shift. Although Kinsella seem to be trying in parts. But not an MotM performance on show.

We did the Sheridan season, that was worse than this (admittedly, it's December, things could get plenty worse yet). It's the same reason fans keep going really, something between hope and habit. It's the same reason fans keep going really, something between hope and habit. As shite as that season was we had a win at Ipswich, Oxford (!) and a few other decent results. We were in L1. We've just had our pants taken down at the County Ground by Barrow. BARROW! Seen plenty of stick for McEachran on Twitter - personally I thought Jake Young was the worst player on the pitch. Where on earth is RHM?! I don’t even recall him getting injured Title: Re: Swindon v Barrow MoM Thread Post by: Mooneyraker on Saturday, December 16, 2023, 23:06:44 Meh. I don’t even recall him getting injured I literally said to my neighbour that he had a touch like Thor's Hammer! I saw RHM ambling in before the game at 14:50. Wasn't on crutches or anything. Yes, I wonder how many of our 'injured' players are just being kept fit in the shadows for a day one sale. And I presume Flynn has said "I'm ok with that as long as I keep my job". To be honest though if I was the manager I wouldn't be happy being told who I can or can't pick. I wonder how many are on the “shouldn’t be playing” list after Flynn’s rant a few weeks ago. Not so much 'bomb squad' as a 'hand grenade' squad given our feeble numbers. Title: Re: Swindon v Barrow MoM Thread Post by: Audrey on Sunday, December 17, 2023, 11:26:14 I doubt they will be queuing up for RHM But how many will improve with better coaching.Title: Re: Swindon v Barrow MoM Thread Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Sunday, December 17, 2023, 11:28:39 As for yesterday, there are a few players that were ok.
Dokes & Minturn had their Hands full with Acquah (he’s the sort of bruiser CF that would be great to have as an option). The front 3 never really threatened Barrow, bar a deflected free kick from Kemp & the Austin header from a McEachran cross. Khan & Kinsella worked hard, but without any end product. The full backs both looked busy but again with little or no impact. Title: Re: Swindon v Barrow MoM Thread Post by: Costanza on Sunday, December 17, 2023, 11:37:18 Where on earth is RHM?! I don’t even recall him getting injured It was described as a 'sore knee' well over a month ago. He's on 39 senior appearances across the competitions... 40 appearances doesn't seem like a contractual trigger milestone, does it? (Not ITK) |
